Today I was just thinking about how long I have consciously been working with the Law of Attraction, exploring the teachings of prosperity teachings like those presented in The Secret, What the Bleep, and offered to us by teachers like Catherine Ponder, Esther and Jerry Hicks (Abraham), Charles Filmore, and more.
I think there is a tendancy for people to seek the 10-minute solution and therefore they become discouranged and disillusioned when they don't manifest the winning lottery ticket, the perfect love, the mansion, and more. First of all, let me say that Source, God, Goddess, The Universe, whatever you call that creative intelligent force behind all creation is a master creator and there is no order of magnitude in Its ability to create. We humans, however, are not master creators and from person to person, our abilities vary.
Many people who are attempting to consciously work with the Law of Attract are infant manfesters and they have primarily been creating by default; it's like stuff just shows up in their lives, some of it is good, some of it is not so good. Then there is all this frustration which is a very powerful emotion that corrupts our creative template and we fall into this vicious cycle of struggling with our creations.
I found myself in this space for a long time and the more I struggled ... the more I struggled. I was creating struggle and doing a very good job of it. From there I learned some very hard but valuable lessons about myself and about life.
Quatum Physics, Law of Attraction, Positive Thinking are good models. MODELS are ways of describing something so that we can begin to work with it. The map is not the territory and when you move from the simple model back to the complex framework of a life you discover there is a difference; a HUGE difference that you must account for in your expectations.
You are not just a body, you are so much more. You are not just a mind, you are so much more. You don't even know who you are or how powerful you are. You don't know how much you are like the Source that created you. You don't know how much of reality is modelled from the world of the unseen. You don't know that what we see is the tip of the iceberg, it's the shadow and the real stuff is hidden from us and yet it is what we create with.
We are infants, mostly, some of us are toddlers, and some are very advanced and we are in kindergarten when it comes to our level of being intentional, conscious, and loving manifesters. There is so much we have to learn before we will be able to fully realize our divine potential.
Are you willing to learn? Are you willing to emerse yourself in your own life experience as a student of the art and science of manifesting? Forget about having it all right now and make a decsion to become conscious, aware, compentent, intentional, and open to taking this on in baby steps.
Scoot, craw, walk, then run. Be like the child who is playfully engaged in exploring life and their own ability to engage with it. Trust the process and the Univerrse to keep you safe and provide healthy boundaries for your exploration. Think in terms of co-creating where you have the smaller role and the Universe plays the larger one.
Discover what it really means to be a creater with a small "c" by learning to work with the intelligence and intentions of the Creator with a big "C". This is the path to becoming a masterful creator.
